3R Performance is hiring a Service Manager!
We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill an immediate opening in our Front Office staff. This
position is customer facing. You will be working directly with our varied and knowledgeable client base
to realize their goals and dreams for their performance vehicles. The position is heavily focused on
project management, but being a small company, a successful candidate must be able to be flexible and
fill other needs as they arise.
Core responsibilities will include:
-Answering calls and emails from current and potential customers.
-Project planning and parts research, writing estimates, and parts ordering.
-Regular communication with customers regarding estimates, timing, and any changes or complications
with their projects.
-Setting up and maintaining vendor accounts.
-Working directly with Shop Floor staff to plan, schedule, and complete projects on time and on budget.
Our customers are the reason we exist, and as a successful applicant, you will set the tone for their
experience with 3R. As such, we are looking for someone with an honest and sincere demeanor who our
customers will feel is trustworthy to work with on complex (and often expensive) projects that are
deeply important to them.
Though your primary responsibilities will be around managing active and pending projects, the Front
Office is also responsible for varied other tasks required to keep everything in the shop running
smoothly. A successful applicant should be flexible and ambitious enough to recognize and fill
other needs throughout the shop, from cleaning/maintenance, to turning wrenches.
Racing is, by definition, a fast-paced environment. Juggling deadlines, resolving complex issues, and
managing dozens of projects at a time can be stressful. A successful candidate should have excellent
time management and communication skills and be able to maintain their own workflow with minimal
oversight and without letting critical details drop.
3R works on a broad range of vehicles. Specific expertise across such a wide spectrum is not necessarily
required, but a successful candidate must have some hands-on experience in the automotive/racing
industry and an extensive understanding of automotive systems, technology, and mechanics. Porsche
specific experience would be a big plus. You will have the support of our staff of expert and experienced
fabricators, technicians, and management, so what’s most important is an ability and eagerness to learn
and grow into this role.
Doing parts research, responding to emails, and using 3R’s project management and scheduling
programs will require a basic level of computer literacy. A successful applicant must be able to learn to
use our company-specific software, as well as be functionally proficient in Word and Excel. Though not
specifically required, experience with social media and marketing, and a willingness to lead efforts on
those fronts, would be a valuable asset.
Compensation range will start between $65,000-$95,000/year depending on qualifications with
opportunity to advance based on performance. Benefits include PTO and health, dental, and vision
options available after 60 days.
3R Performance is an equal opportunity employer.
